Shit movie a more shitty source . The source has immense blocking due to bitrate starvation being a 2 hour movie on a palette off a dvdr with lots off motion . We tried decreasing the blocking as much as possible .
More importantly the source is interlaced and interlaced very bad. Ivtcing too 23.976 induced immense ghosting taking it to 25 fps induced a dupe frame every fourth frame and jerks . Also a lot off frames were orphan frames being dupes themselves in the source and hence contribute to the ghosting and immense blocking present in the source . We did the best possible deinterlacement which took care off the problems as much as it could restoring the movie too film whilst taking care off the hybrid deinterlacementa and dupe frames (yes, almost 90% off the frames on the source require a 3:2 pulldown and the rest off the frames are hybrid hence the shit were having to face) for fluid motion .
Still at some places one may observe blended progressive frames and minute jerks at scene changes cant do much about it now can we?
